In April of 2019, Mythereum released a major version update with the following changes and fixes:

1. Improvements to Player Created Tournaments
“We have made improvements for easier and better tournament hosting. Includes preview of total prizes, total stake needed and available balance. You can also now offer Mythicat prizes for any level round winners, and you can also offer ETH and DAi as peizes as well as entry fees. Still more improvements in the pipeline.”

2. Warlords Activity Level
“We have added a sortable column in the War Room that shows activity levels. We recommend you sort and target brain dead Warlords when looking for easy Raids”

3. Fortifications HP boosts increased
“Fortifications were giving too low a boost relative to cost and were low impact. From now on each level fortification gives 3 HP boost to your defenders starting HP when someone raids your stronghold”

4. Player Created Tournaments
“You can now create tournaments with any erc20 tokens as entry fees and prizes. In future other asset types will be added.”

5. Raiding cap of 100MX is in operation
“This means that anything you have in your balance over 100MX is not raidable. As an example: If you have 300MX in balance, only the first 100MX is considered raidable. With no Vault that means a single raid can get 10% — 10MX at most, with a vault at maximum level (Level 5) then only 50% is raidable, so maximum of a single raid is 5MX.
Note: that active alliance members also contribute to protecting MX from raids thus reducing the overall raidable amount.”

6. War Room
“This is where you will now see a modified table listing Warlords. The Warlords and Alliance column is now 2 separate columns and both are search-able. Also the activity of every warlord listed can be viewed directly from this table. Simply click on the Warlords name where it will show you the players activity page.

7. Survivor claiming
“To on chain is now available under forge, just like mythicats. and all players who played plus 100 games before today were granted all their survivors as claimable to on chain.”

8. Forge button
“Moved to top and the go back moved to below — fixes some Ui issues players sometimes experienced.”

9. Caravans
“More and bigger caravans to raid, the biggest come with up to 20 of each resource 3 times a day.”

10. Bots
“The bots should take their turns faster in battlegrounds games now.”

11. Bank & Vault
“The maximum level for vault (and bank) upgrades is Level 5 — a bug that allowed going over has been fixed”

12. Warlords Online
“Duplicate names under warlords online has been fixed (online means seen on the site within 20 minutes).”

13. Removals
“Bots have been removed from the leaderboard and from the warlords online list.”

14. New Feature — World Map
“First designs and prototype code have been completed for the upcoming Map feature.”

15. Propose times
“In the tournaments feature, it now allows 15 minute intervals to be selected for proposing new battle times.”

16. UI Bug Fix
“We now ensure that the UI clears any old leader card images when a new battle starts.”

17. Tournament Fix
“We have unearthed the intermittent bug that could stall tournaments. The full fix will be released shortly and then we will be opening more tournaments again.”

18. Kings Challenge
“Kings Challenge bugs were also fixed and the remaining alliance Kings Challenge tournaments will soon begin for all remaining Alliances.”

19. Pack Animations
“Finalized animations for card pack purchases.”

Of these updates, the most exciting is the 100 MX raid cap — this means a player can finally hold any amount of MX and only be raidable for 10% of their 100 or less MX, averaging 3–4 MX. So if you have good interest and gains, you could have thousands of MX in storage gaining hundreds of MX in the process daily, as passive income.

The next anticipated update, is the fixes to tournaments. This is the bread and butter of the Mythereum community, and we do love our tournaments, so it’s great to see it get the attention it deserves.

Of all of these, the least expected, but most welcome change, is the update to the Fortifications HP boost. This adjustment triples the bonus HP on defense provided by fortifications which previously only provided 1 hp boost per level. Now it is 3, which can mean the difference between a win or loss.
